It had to happen! Last month Middlesborough, the up and coming football club in the English Premier League, had Brazilian star Juninho and Spanish star Gaitzka Mendieta sporting their debut match football shirts bearing the logo of the online casino 888.com.

In Argentina they have just introduced the new shirts for Club Atletico Banfield, from the south of the capital, which bear the logo of the casino company CODERE. More than 300 guests attended the ceremony at the Salon Versailles of the luxury Alvear Palace Hotel in the centre of Buenos Aires. A parade of top models wore the two versions of the club colours. The head of Codere in Argentina, Hector Luna, thanked the local people for their support of his company indicating that his company’s sponsorship of Banfield was reciprocal.

Amongst personalities who attended the show with popular artistes and a sumptuous banquet was the president of SAGSE Giorgio Gennari Litta, Elizabeth Romano the Director of Business Development for TCS John Huxley in the region, and Martin Di Meola the General Manager of R Franco Argentina.
