Ace A&G team prepares for first South American expo

SAGSE PERU ON SHOW

Later this week the third annual gaming exhibition in Lima, Peru will open. SAGSE Perú 2005, which runs 10 – 11 August, is again being held at the Jockey Plaza convention centre in the Monterrico district famous for its racetrack and racing stables. Before the Wednesday official start of the expo, teams of technicians from international companies have arrived to set up their stands in order to display the products for optimum effect. One such team, from ACE Amusements & Games of Korea, has already been introduced to the delights of Peruvian cuisine – rated to give the best French food a close run – and a tour of historic Lima.

ACENET ASCOT is a spectacular horseracing game with a giant screen that is played at individual terminals that can number between 12 and 100. Its debut in South America, in the heart of Peru’s horseracing industry, would seem an apt choice. ACE A&G is in its first year outside Korea, where its games have immense success, and the company will be exhibiting at G2E in Las Vegas next month before going to SAGSE Buenos Aires in November. The company also manufactures GOOD ACE for smaller gaming floors, where the same horseracing system is played on stand-alone double screen terminals, and the innovative slot machine MAGIC CASTLE with integrated jackpot system.

After SAGSE Perú 2005, ACE President Jin-Tae Kim, and Director Sang-Sae Lee, together with Senior VP Business Development Ricki Chavez-Munoz, will be travelling to Colombia to discuss distribution of Ace products. On 18 August the team from ACE will be in Las Vegas for the IGT seminar on the implementation of the SAS Protocol. Racing has long been known as the Sport of Kings and ACENET Ascot, with its universal appeal, seems set to become known as the Game of Kings. (E-08.08.05)
