The African Gaming Summit will take place in beautiful Cape Town, South Africa on 5th & 6th September 2007. Clarion ATE and River City Group have announced the staging of their first event on the African continent and claim that “nowhere else is it possible to gain such a far-reaching and in-depth insight into the state of African gaming today and tomorrow.” The Summit will combine two conferences – the Terrestrial Conference and the iGaming Conference.
A comprehensive view of African gaming, both on and offline, will be offered at the simultaneous meetings. Delegates will then have the opportunity to come together for overview sessions, leisure options and the exhibition showcasing the latest innovations in the gaming industry. The Terrestrial Conference will look mainly at the casino industry in Africa but will also consider other forms of land-based gaming. The iGaming Conference, an inaugural one for the region, will explore the new regulatory legislation being considered by the South African government as well as other concerns.
The African Gaming Summit follows the International Masters of Gaming Law conference on 3rd & 4th September in Cape Town. River City Group joined ATE in June 2006 to become a division of Clarion Events. It began monitoring interactive gaming in 1995 and is now an expert in presenting events for the iGaming industry. ATE is a leading provider of quality information, events and services to the global gaming, gambling and betting industries. More information on what should prove to be an excellent gaming event will shortly be available at www.africangamingsummit.com (E-04.17.07)
