UK B2B Datateam Publishing Ltd, in association with Greata Entertainment S.A. of Panama announced the presentation of new magazine CASINO INTERNATIONAL AMERICANO, during the Sage Panama 2008 event last week. Paul Ryder, Datateam Publication Manager, said, “Almost five years ago we started our relationship with Latin America by publishing a bilingual column in Casino International. Since then we have been monitoring the growth in the region and a couple of years ago it was suggested to us that as experts in the area we should publish a specialist magazine for Latin America".
Ricki Chavez-Muñoz, Managing Editor on the new title said: “We begin Americano with great expectations, with the objective of offering a working tool for the gaming sector - informing, educating, entertaining and pushing for a level regulatory playing field so that all can compete fairly. Our first editions will be in Spanish but will soon be in English as well.”
Ryder concluded: "We've had a great reception at G2E Asia in Macao and during the SAGSE Panama 2008 expo also. At the G2E show last year in Las Vegas we decided to produce our new magazine for the whole of the Americas, but with essentially a Latin flavour.”
Datateam has planned for the first edition of Casino International Americano to be published in August 2008, with information and reports on the gaming sector principally in Latin America. However, Americano will also cover North America including its powerful tribal casinos, the developing online betting industry, and all aspects of gaming from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego, the Caribbean and beyond.
