Aristocrat seeks to capitalize in Latin American

GIANTS AND NEWCOMERS AT SAGSE

The giant Australian gaming machine manufacturer Aristocrat Technologies, Inc at this year’s SAGSE show in Buenos Aires is exhibiting an impressive array of MKVI video slot machines, including Mr Cashman and Money Honey; Stand Alone Progressives (SAP); Double Stand Alone Progressives (DSAP); and the exclusive Reel Power games. An extensive variety of games are in the Spanish language.

Tim Parrott, President and CEO of Aristocrat in the Americas, recently commented on the commitment his company has with Latin American customers. “We are excited to have the opportunity to present our Latin American clients with the most popular Aristocrat games. We continue to give special attention to being the most competitive in the Latin American market.”

Aristocrat is presenting its state-of-the-art MKVI platform with a variety of betting configurations, 3-D animation, advanced audio clarity and high-resolution screens. Spanish titles include Sun & Moon and Where’s the Gold. The patented Reel Power machines, with as many as 243 ways of winning, include Golden Incas, Wings Over Olympus and Heart of Antony.

Batting for the newcomers in Buenos Aires are the young professionals of Boss Gaming, led by its president Linda Monzon, who made several contacts and a couple of sales on the first day of the SAGSE show. The Group has now placed its electronic roulettes at two sites in Argentina and is positioning itself in the market for further sales, including the company’s elegant new product MITO BINGO. Linda Monzon, having trained as a designer in Europe, has described the new bingo machine as minimalist, to give operators, including cruise ships, a higher return per cubic foot.

Continuing with the bingo theme, MADEX Soluciones Informaticas is presenting a digital bingo system with a traditional format that shows online information of prizes and accumulated jackpots. This gives a better interconnection of numerous gaming venues, enabling larger jackpots to attract players. MADEX Manager Claudio Oscar Freda informed us that his Argentinean company had successfully interested European companies in its products for the Central American market.

For the media, the success of the show is measured by the newspaper GAMES, which is printed for each of the three days under the direction of the highly respected and charismatic Carlos Cardama. He enthusiastically reminded us that his great magazine GAMES, edited in Sao Paolo, Brazil, is celebrating its 10th Anniversary. Congratulations to Carlos and his team for leading the diffusion of gaming industry news. Best wishes for the next ten years! (E-10.13.06)
