With a simple closing ceremony, the course ´Protecting Your Assets: An Organizational Approach´, presented by the directors of the University of Nevada came to an end. They transmitted their knowledge and experience on casino security and vigilance to a selected group of executive who answer the call of 3A Producciones and the University of Nevada to attend the high level training on this important topic for casinos and gaming rooms.
“Excellent audience. It was a fantastic and enthusiastic experience. Besides, as it usually happens, we had friendly participants in a marvellous island. The organization was good; we have accepted the invitation to attend the Andean Gaming Trade Show 2011 in the month of April. We love to know and support the Latin American market,” commented Professor Darrin Hoke, after the Gaming Management Certificates were handed out to the assistants.
Casino Directors, Managers, Financial and Human Resources Directors constituted the professional profiles of those who took the training course and at the end of the event they expressed their opinions on the course. “The course was very enriching. We hope to be able to count with new options and new topics in later opportunities,” said Marc Charley, Cool Casino, Aruba.
“I was really impressed with the academic quality of the course. We can say that the University of Nevada ‘opened our eyes’ to many aspects for improving vigilance and security that we did not know.” Vanessa Noel, Sunny Group of Companies, Trinidad y Tobago.

Cheryl Olson, Associate Director, Gaming Management and Executive Programs, of the University of Nevada, Reno, manager and promoter of the Aruba congress stated: “We reached an alliance with 3A Producciones to offer a strong educational component to all the events on the Caribbean and the Andean Region. Both parties believe that training benefits the organizations of the Gaming world to those regions we support. We hope that this increases the access of operators to formation opportunities.
”On the other hand, in reference to the business meeting, Carolina Moncada, in charge of public relations and protocol of 3A Producciones, highlighted the presence of representatives of renowned brands such as Bally Technologies, WMS, Gemaco, Spin Inc., Money Controls, Casinfo, Crown Casino, Suzo, Transact, Aruze, Cashscan y GLI, among others in the business round which took place in the afternoons of September 1 and 2. Some of the assistants confirmed their presence as exhibitors in the Corporate Event with homogeneous stands, which will be given again next year in the Aruba Gaming Congress, the name defined by the organization in the event which will be held once again at the Westin Aruba Resort and Hotel on August 3 and 4.
Jose Anibal Aguirre, General Director of Aruba Gaming Expo, the Andean Gaming Trade Show, FADJA and the International Gaming Congress, CIJUEGO PERU, expressed his satisfaction for the conclusion of the event: “This innovating congress format and business round has had great acceptance among operators. We have planted a seed that we are sure will grow in the Caribbean. We are incorporating a dynamic of growth and education in a very important region that had not been so timely touched as we have done in this opportunity.
