International Game Technology (IGT), a global leader in creating the games players love and network systems that improve the player experience, has announced the installation of its M-P Series game Roulette Evolution at Grand Casino Basel in Switzerland. The installation includes 28 player stations connected to an automated roulette wheel.
"Since opening our casino, the majority of our machines have always been from IGT. IGT's games have proven to be consistent top performers and are always liked by our players. And when we chose to replace our old automated roulette units, we immediately trusted IGT and its Roulette Evolution game - and we are thrilled with this decision," said Marcel Wenger, casino vice director at Grand Casino Basel.
"The results are great, the design is fantastic, and the machines have been accepted by our customers. Players enjoy choosing their denominations and bets at will," said Eugenio di Palma, slot manager at Grand Casino Basel.
IGT's striking M-P Series Roulette Evolution setup includes: slant top multi-player units (each with a stylish 23-inch widescreen display); automated roulette wheel; 53-inch, high definition central display; and digital cameras allowing each player to view and choose their favorite wheel. The M-P Series hardware is highly configurable, allowing for easy game conversion or expansion in the future.
"The cooperation between Grand Casino Basel and IGT has always been phenomenal. I was personally involved with the casino when it first opened and I'm still excited about every new product we install," said Ron Babini, sales manager at IGT Europe.
The casino currently operates 358 slots, with the majority being IGT slots games, and also features EZ Pay, IGT's ticket-in/ticket-out system. (E-07.02.10)
