Aristocrat Technologies Europe enjoyed a highly successful outing at the first Balkan Gaming & Entertainment Expo (BEGE) where its ground-breaking Viridian cabinet scooped the ‘Best Upright Slot Machine’ title in the inaugural ‘Best Gaming Equipment Industrial Design in the Balkans’ awards.

The company also experienced what it describes as ‘unprecedented interest’ in the 12 PokerPro electronic poker tables being exhibited on its stand. The tables were engaged in tournament play throughout the exhibition’s three days duration.

Heralding both the award and the warm reception by the region’s operators, Aristocrat Technologies Europe’s Head of Sales – Emerging Markets & Business Innovation, Marcus Honney said: “Our strong presence in Sofia has undoubtedly helped to raise the profile of the Aristocrat brand and the products we distribute amongst Balkans-based industry professionals.
