Storm International’s “Responsible Gaming” programme has been acknowledged as the best in Eastern Europe. At the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo, held in Sofia on September 30th – October 2nd, the company was named as the leader in the development of responsible attitudes to gambling in Eastern Europe and presented with an award at a gala dinner given to celebrate the successful completion of the Expo and the Eastern European Gaming Summit.

In the “Responsible Gaming” nomination the jury evaluated achievements of gambling operators in the development of social responsibility principles. The key evaluation factors were as follows: the level of accessibility of the information on gambling-related problems, and the campaign on spreading the corresponding information; prevention measures with regards to gambling addiction and the quality of practical help for compulsive gamblers.

The organizers of the Expo and Summit distinguished high achievements of Storm International in developing and spreading the “Responsible Gaming” programme principles. In his turn, the company’s PR Director Lavrentiy Gubin on receiving the award expressed his hope that all operators would soon establish principles of “Responsible Gaming” at their facilities. In January this year Storm International received an award for Outstanding Contribution to the gaming industry at the Gaming Awards ceremony in London. (E-10.10.08)
