At CasinoCompendium we are pleased to be of service to the global gaming industry. Our publisher, Ricki Chavez-Muñoz, has been invited to many conferences to speak on key casino operating disciplines, and has now been invited by the organizers of the 7th International Conference and Forum on Public Welfare and Gaming Industry that will be held in Beijing or Hainan, China on 10-12 November 2010. This event is jointly organized by China Center for Lottery Studies (CCLS) Peking University and Macao Polytechnic Institute.

The Conference is committed to fostering the healthy development of the gaming industry in China, including that in Hong Kong SAR, Macao SAR, and Taiwan, and this annual conference provides a platform for communication, exchange and debate on issues facing policy makers, operators, as well as scholars in the industry. The organizers are particularly keen to provoke high quality research in gaming and in the gaming industry.

The China Center for Lottery Studies (CCLS) at Peking University is a self-financed nonprofit academic institution. The Center is committed to promoting interdisciplinary research and professional training regarding China's rapidly developed lottery industry. Although a relatively young research facility, the CCLS engages in a wide range of activities, possesses diverse capabilities, and employs a professional and highly motivated staff.

The theme of this year's conference is ‘The Development of the Gaming Industry: Challenges and Opportunities’. During the 3-day event, industry experts and specialists will deliver lectures, seminars and address many topics for discussion. In their invitation, The 7th ICGIPW Conference Committee said that they had selected Mr. Chavez-Muñoz “In view of your in-depth research and significant achievements in the fields that are to be addressed by the Conference, it is our privilege to hereby invite you to attend the Conference.” (E-05.25.10)
