Many companies are born out of market needs, whilst others see the light via the urgency of daring young guys seeking business opportunities. Greatplan Limited was set up in London two years ago out of a combination of both, as the product of Latin American regional needs for quality multi stations, starting with electro mechanic roulettes BOSS GAMING®, and quickly moving on to the manufacture of other innovative gaming devices to comply with different and exciting jurisdictions.
Using European technology and Latin design, BOSS roulettes soon made their mark at SAGSE Buenos Aires 2005, where they were described as the ‘sexiest’ roulettes on the market. At the FADJA 2007 expo in Bogotá over the next two days, BOSS GAMING will be exhibiting a great array of products, from their so popular electronic roulettes to their new MITO Bingo. Newcomers to Latin America are MERKUR GAMING video games from the German Gauselmann Group, and VIDEOBETS from Europe. The company has now established a local company, based in Bogotá.
In May 2006, BOSS GAMING AMERICA S.A. was established at the Bogotá Free Zone in Colombia. Sandi Marinic, CEO says: “Out of all the countries we visited Colombia was the most attractive because of the ease with which it receives investors. We’ve found out that this is a country that has been economically stable for the past 50 years. Indeed, this is developed country with all the facilities for doing business, with clear gaming legislation for promoting the industry.
“We’ve been very well received by local leaders like Unidelca, Codere, Winner Group, besides other smaller operators, who have given us the opportunity to show them that we have an excellent product. Little by little we are discovering Colombia, which is a hyper competitive gaming market, where playing safe is not the equivalent to playing smart.”
In markets overflowing with new companies and products, where almost daily someone decides to make a copy of an established product, there is only one way to stay in front. This is by ensuring a different work ethic based on fresh initiatives, where a company applies its work philosophy with consistency, from the manufacture of its products to the attitude of its people. BOSS GAMING keeps to these precepts and has started its journey in the industry with purpose and vision.

Carlos Monzon, head of Boss Gaming America’s Technical and Development division has very clear views on personalized service: “Each one of our clients has different requirements, not only in the same country but in each specific market, and we diligently note down their comments and criticism for future reference, which we refer to during our service meetings. This and other data we process and introduce into our development and service work.”
There is no hype in the claim that the BOSS GAMING team is ready to trade business blows with the very best in the industry and, to quote one of the most important European names in Europe which strategically must remain anonymous for the time being, “We’ll be establishing a close working relationship with the Boss guys because they are the most dynamic in the region.”
Sometimes the last word is well deserved, and Linda Monzon makes the Greatplan claim: “Nowadays, no one can survive doing things just a shade better than the competition.
