Net operating revenue rises in fourth quarter and full year

CENTURY CASINOS REPORTS RESULTS

Yesterday Century Casino Inc posted a 63% increase in net operating revenue for the year ended 31 December 2007. The NASDAQ and Vienna Stock Exchange listed company stated that fourth quarter net operating revenue was up 29% on the same quarter of 2006 at just under US$23.2 million. Full year net operating revenue was US$91.65 million compared to US%56.28 million in 2006. The Colorado smoking ban introduced on 1 January 2008 is expected to adversely affect future revenue.

The international casino entertainment company owns and operates the Womacks Casino and Hotel in Cripple Creek and the Century Casino & Hotel in Central City, both in Colorado, the Century Casino & Hotel in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and the Century Casino Millennium in the Marriott Hotel in Prague, Czech Republic. It also operates casinos aboard the Silver Cloud, The World of ResidenSea, and the vessels of Oceania Cruises. A subsidiary in South Africa owns and operates the Caledonian Hotel, Spa and Casino near Cape Town and has a 60% holding in and manages the Century Casino Newcastle. An Austrian subsidiary holds a 33.3% ownership interest in Casinos Poland Ltd, with seven casinos and one slot casino in Poland.

Company CEOs Erwin Haitzmann and Peter Hoetzinger stated: “We are pleased with the progress we have made in the growth of our company. “The first full year of operations at our three new casinos had a positive impact to the Company’s Adjusted EBITDA.” The consolidated Adjusted EBITDA showed a rise of 67% to US$12.64 million for 2007.
