Brazilian company doubles its presence in Las Vegas

COPAG CARDS AT G2E

It could be said that Copag and cards are synonymous; the company has been involved in the playing card market since 1908 as an importer and 1918 as a manufacturer. Sited at its modern facilities in Manaus in the Amazon, Copag exports its high quality playing cards around the world and Copag USA has recently developed an entire line of products especially for the US market, with different models for all kinds of games.

Customers have long appreciated the wide range of finishes and options that Copag makes available whilst always maintaining both quality and security. The Brazilian company is unique in the variety of safety features its products carry, from numbered safety box with hologram, invisible UV ink and unequalled LaserLock technology. Copag was chosen as the playing card supplier for the recent 2005 WSOP championship, where the final poker table saw nine players share US$22.95 million.

Copag manufactures high-quality coated paper cards but it is its range of 100% plastic cards that are overwhelmingly popular, particularly in the poker market. At September’s Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in Las Vegas the company will be launching its new model of plastic cards manufactured for poker rooms. In terms of quality and prices, Copag cannot be beaten.

Visitors to the G2E exhibition will, for the first time, be able to see the full variety of Copag products at two different stands. Since 2002 the company has held a worldwide agreement with TCS John Huxley, and Copag will be showing its products for the casino market at that stand. Copag USA will also be demonstrating the playing cards developed for the US market and can be visited at booth # 567. (E-08.08.05)
