CashCode, now exhibiting under its parent company’s moniker of Crane Payment Solutions, the manufacturer of bill validators and currency handling devices for countries worldwide, is launching its next generation FrontLoad validator at this year’s G2E show. The product named CashCode one clearly articulates one of its key value propositions; to deliver innovative payment solutions that improve the customer experience while reducing Total Cost of Ownership.
In the past, Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) and Operators had to inventory and support various models and parts for various countries into which they sold their machines. Some countries required different power interfaces (12v/24v), as well as unique models depending and the width of currency being validated. CashCode has removed all the variances out. With one, one model will handle any of the supported protocols, interfaces, currencies, etc. This newest solution is truly unique in the industry and will definitely reduce OEM and Operator logistical costs.
The CashCode one benefits to the end-user, both operators and casinos include: Fastest validation speed in the industry at less than 3 seconds; 4-way barcode ticket acceptance, which means that no special accessories are required depending on upright or slant top machine configurations; Superior validation. CashCode utilizes four validation spectrums; Optical, Dielectric, Inductive and Ultra Violet, the most secure in the industry; “Drop proof” cash box made from a metal/polycarbonate hybrid material; Expandable memory to allow for increased bank note sets or future upgrades; USB connectivity, and BlueChip Smart Stick updates, that enables operators to quickly and easily update software and/or firmware without an addition piece of hardware.
Sim Bielak, VP Sales, Global Gaming said: “With CashCode one our engineers standardized its operations to drive greater efficiencies for the end-user. CashCode one is agnostic; it can be used on any gaming machine, no matter the maker, protocol, interface or voltage. With a simple change of software, CashCode one will work. From an OEM or operator standpoint, you now have a vanilla product that can be programmed for use on whatever device it is attached. This universality drives tremendous efficiency on the slot or manufacturing floor.”
This ground braking Cash Code product has been under development for some time and has been field tested at various properties worldwide. The company conducted many VOC (Voice of the Customer) sessions to ensure they encapsulated the features required in today’s competitive marketplace. The result is a product that delivers improved performance on slot and table games and delivers on incremental increases in revenue for casinos.
Bielak concluded: “Our competitive benchmarking supports our value proposition. We have done our homework. This product has been in development for three years—and we have been working on our points of differentiation and playing up our value proposition. It has gone through a stringent process to ensure it differentiates from what is out in the marketplace today.”
