The Caribbean Gaming Show & Conference 2011 will open the V Latin American Gaming & Lotteries Conference with Eric O. Cataño, former Deputy General Director of the National Lottery of Panama until last summer. Indeed, Mr. Cataño has kindly agreed to open the Panel on March 3rd, thus opening the V Latin American Gaming & Lotteries Conference.

CGS&C 2011, says: “His vast experience from the General Secretariat from 2004 to 2006 and from the Sub General Directorate from 2006 to 2009 was the basis for the decision to include him in our Panel, and offer that was undertaken with great pleasure and enthusiasm by Mr. Cataño, who recently participated in the Meeting of the Ibero-American Corporation of State Lottery and Gaming (CIBELAE), as part of the twentieth anniversary of its founding. At that time issued a Conference on Development and Evolution of National Lottery Panama (Madrid-Spain).

“Previously Castaño was senior member of the working meeting of the Board of Social Protection of Costa Rica and FOMUVEL –Spanish acronym-(Mutual Fund and Social Benefic Lottery Vendors) developing a mutual cooperation agreement. It is noteworthy that work in conjunction with the CAIXA in Brazil, and the visit to Israel Lottery has given the necessary background to share with us all development issues vital to the region.

“We are confident that Mr. Cataño has much to offer those attending the Conferences. In addition, guidance is being a great help to define the problem of Lotteries in the area, and the preparation of agendas for the workshops that are planned for foreign representatives that already have confirmed their presence at our event. Next March 3rd and 4th, 2011, you have an important appointment in Santo Domingo with “The Biggest Caribbean Exhibition”.” (E-10.22.10)
