The big names have already reserved stands at Mexican expo

IGT AND METRONIA AT ELA 2009

The biggest Spanish and US names have already bagged the two largest stands for the forthcoming edition of the Latin-American Gaming Fair - ELA, to be held 14 - 15 May 2009 at the Banamex Centre in Mexico City. These two giants of the international gaming industry will each have some 300 metres to showcase their newest products for the international markets.

IGT is the world leader in slot machine production – a position they also hold on the Mexican market. Company policy is to attend only the biggest international fairs on the calendar, such as ICE in London and G2E in Las Vegas. Accordingly, having IGT at ELA confirms the Mexican event as one of the most important of the year, and an obligatory call for all operators in the Andean Region, Central America and the Caribbean.

Metronia is one of the world’s most important manufacturers of bingo terminals. The company sells its products in almost 50 countries and is one of the major suppliers of these products in Mexico, where they have already installed over 3000 machines. Metronia had the biggest stand at the last edition of ELA, where they closed several major deals.

Other big stands will be held by Zitro, with 170m2, and Slovenian firm Alfastreet, with 143m2. Both are major players on the current Mexican gaming scene. Other companies confirming their presence at ELA 2009 include Casino Technology, Gold Club, Sielcon, VGT, Cattan, Merito, Gaming Signs, Hispania Casino Equipment, CasinoStudio, Shock Machine and Automated Transactions, among others. The situation just 10 days after commercialisation of the Mexican fair commenced is not just optimistic, but rather a guarantee of success. (E-07.10.08)
