ELA 2008 will bring together over 50 exhibitors from Central America, the Caribbean, the Andes Region, South America, the United States, Europe and Asia. The Latin-American Gaming Exhibition will open from 15.00 to 21.00 on May 15-16. The 5th American Congress of Gaming Regulators and the 1st Ibero-American Meeting of Gaming Operators will be held along with the fair.

The Regulators’ Congress will be held on 15 May, from 9.00 to 14.00. Regulators from the USA, Puerto Rico, Guatemala, Panama, Colombia, Bolivia, Peru, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile have confirmed their presence. The Operators’ Meeting will be held on 16 May, from 9.00 to 14.00. It will be inaugurated by the Mexican Association of Gaming and Lottery Licensees, as hosts.

The Speakers include representatives from the European Casino Association, the Spanish Casino Games Association, Codere, Cirsa, Egasa, the Colombian Operators’ Association, and representatives from Casinos, Bingos and Gaming Rooms from Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Ecuador, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Panama, Guatemala, Belize, Aruba, Croatia and Korea, among others.

The representatives of the Inter-American Institute of Gaming and Betting Law (Instituto Interamericano de Derecho sobre Juegos de Azar y Apuesta – IIAA) will also hold their annual meeting during ELA 2008. The organisers of several international gaming fairs will hold a workshop to study the possibility of setting up the International Gaming Exhibitions Association.
