"Management software is proven to be time saving and accurate. The EndX system allows the easy extraction of any required information by management. It is fast and efficient for the cashiers and saves time for customers," says Peter Hustler, General Manager of Blue Chip Casinos.
Testimonials like those by Peter Hustler are worth their weight in gold as they convey to the end user total satisfaction in the product, to which advertising can only aspire. As the casino working environment relies more on technology each day to optimize productivity, EndX products are proving to be a hit with operators the world over. The latest territory to have opted to sign up to the technology from Oldham, in the north of England, is The British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
The company announced yesterday that EndX Intelligence software is to monitor all casino operations of BCLS in British Columbia, Canada, which will include a total of 360 tables. The British Columbia Lottery Corporation needed a heavy-duty system that would fulfill their exact requirements. The system had to be capable of handling a large number of transactions, as well as real time data. BCLC wanted and EndX delivered, a system that provides real business benefits for the casinos operators.
EndX was chosen because it has the best product available, it is a strong, proven casino management solution with an extensive maintenance package, including 24-hour support. BCLC was impressed by the wealth of knowledge and understanding that the EndX team have of casino operations, regulatory requirements and how to relate all of this to BCLC's requirements, in order to provide ideal solutions in a stunning new multi-media product that is committed to building customer loyalty, and has proven to be a revenue generator for casino operations.
Currently, the system is installed at 15 sites and the rollout to the two remaining sites is expected to be completed during 2004. All software will be operated centrally from BCLC's head office in Kamloops, British Columbia. Upon completion of this installation, approximately 850 tables in North America will be monitored using the TableLink modules. The powerful package of modules installed at BCLC includes EndX's ClubAssistant, CageAssistant, PitAssistant and PlayerTracking Assistant.
In addition TableLink (a player tracking table management system, jointly developed by EndX and Mikohn) and Mikohn's CasinoLink, which consolidates all gaming management from the slots, have also been installed. TableLink controls over 400 tables at BCLC, while EndX's software controls the financial side of the poker tables. Once the remaining two site installations are completed, the total number of tables controlled by the systems will be 360.
All of the systems are integrated. CageAssistant for example combines cash handling from the tables and slots and connects up to Mikohn's CasinoLink. PitAssistant installed on top of TableLink provides complete control of the poker pits. ClubAssistant and PlayerTracking Assistant aid BCLC with their marketing activities. Currently there are a significant number of members registered on the system and all player transactions are recorded through the slots.
The BCLC configuration includes financial functionality and staff tracking. The player head count option is active to enable analysis of table utilisation. This generates hourly figures and BCLC then have access to this data for their own internal use. Tablelink can also be used for real time player tracking, BCLC have purchased this additional option for future use. This will provide a completely integrated total slot/table combined package.
Since its launch at ICE 2004, a phenomenal amount of interest has been shown by casinos in EndX's MediaLink. Following early successes sales are rapidly growing in the United Kingdom, and now casinos in Macau, Australia and New Zealand are also enjoying the benefits of this exceptional and affordable product that delivers everything a casino requires and much more.
EndX is delighted to welcome a range of new clients to its extensive client list, including Rubicon and Sorrento (Blue Chip Casinos), British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), Westcliffe and Spielers casino.
The decision to install ClubAssistant, CageAssistant and PlayerTracking Assistant modules at each Blue Chip casino has developed through a close working partnership between EndX's business development team and the Blue Chip management team. The modules installed provide Blue Chip with a player loyalty system that ultimately enhances the casinos’ marketing strategy and enables more effective client targeting and a complete cash desk management system.
Nicholas Boyes-Hunter, EndX Ltd. CEO, says in his newsletter to the industry:
"In our last newsletter, I mentioned our focus on developing our customer support service during 2004. Part of this recent investment has seen staffing levels within the support department increasing significantly. This has been in direct response to the group's rapidly expanding customer base, all of whom request access to EndX's excellent 24 hour support service. As promised, we have increased the number of support staff to ensure that both existing and new customers benefit from improved resourcing in this department. Initial feedback on our increased staffing levels has been very positive, as it means we can continue to service and resolve any support issues quickly and effectively."
With the opening of an office in Macau, EndX is poised to take on this burgeoning new market as the gaming industry in that region readies for a quantum leap of dynamic proportions. The Oldham firm will be present at Eelex 2004 in Moscow in December, as it continues focusing on expanding its international client base.
