3 A Producciones, host company for the Andean Gaming Fair (FADJA in Spanish), confirmed the dates for the 11th version of this expo for April 22 and 23, 2009. FADJA will be held at the Conventions and Exhibit Center of Corferias, in the vibrant capital of Colombia, Bogotá.
“Without doubt the international gaming industry has chosen our most representative and productive event in the region to make its launches in Latin America; which makes us feel very pleased and proud”, said Jose Aníbal Aguirre, Director of FADJA. “This powerful reason motivates and commits us to continue working on the invitation of true buying operators. Our call and strategy of trade are designed exclusively for the six major markets of the region: Colombia, Peru, Panama, Bolivia, Venezuela and Ecuador”.
The new regulatory laws decreed by the Colombian President to bring the industry to a higher professional level to operate online gaming and slots, and approved by Colombian regulators ETESA, have confirmed the presence of several gaming sectors in Colombia, including 24 lotteries groups, 14 betting companies and 4 of the largest games operators and the third Congress of International Gaming, CIJE Colombia.
Aguirre added: “Also FADJA has secured the agreements of cooperation in trade and publicity with the number one expo in the world, the Global Gaming Expo (G2E), which added to the presence of some of the principal leading brands at FADJA has seen requests for expo space from Argentine industry companies, leaders in Latin America. All the above factors are creating an expansive panorama of demand and opportunities that will surely transfer into business deals for the benefit of further development of the gaming industry on the Latin American continent”.
3 A Producciones is also working on the development of new academic projects of communication, exclusively targeted to offer new computer science tools and services of qualification for the operators and professionals of the industry. This project comes from the vision of sharing year after year ideas with recognized regional gaming associations and institutions.
FADJA’s relationship with institutions such as ALAJA in Latin America, ASAJA in Panama, ASCABI in Ecuador, CAVEBIN in Venezuela, SONAJA and APEJA in Peru, and FECEAZAR, FEDELCO and FECOLJUEGOS in Colombia is second to none, and Aguirre concluded: “Our work with all these gaming institutions also enables us to maintain a very close relationship with buyers and visitors, who are finally our raison d’etre as a gaming expo that serves well our exhibitors’ objectives”.
