Caracas has been selected by Feria Andina de Juegos de Azar (Andean Gaming Fair), to hold the first FADJA business conference. The choice of Caracas is due to the support of local operators, bingo & casino associations, and also because a formal invitation was received from the Comisión Nacional de Casinos, Salas de Bingos y Máquinas Traganíqueles (National Commission of Casinos, Bingos and Slot Machines), of the Republic of Venezuela, which has asked FADJA to promote the event within the gaming sector and to endorse their campaign against illegal gaming: Mission Zero.

FADJA's first business conference will take place on September 7 at 12 midday, in the Zafiro and Topacio conference halls of the Radisson Eurobuilding Hotel in the beautiful South American capital. Gaming business people from the most important Venezuelan and Andean countries will be able to exchange views with the leaders of the gaming manufacturing industry.

José Aníbal Aguirre, director of the FADJA Business Conference said: "This first project in Venezuela has been made possible thanks to positive support and expectations from operators, local authorities and representatives from the principal brands trading in Caracas. The gaming companies in Venezuela are in agreement over the need and importance of supporting the work of bingos, casinos, lotteries and betting firms".

The event will take place in 500 square metres of meetings space supplied with every business logistics support, and also with an additional 500 square metres for corporate demonstrations. In a genuine business atmosphere, the FADJA team will ensure that operators, regulators and industry people in general enter a new inter-relations format for the Andean region and the neighbouring countries.

Aguirre added: "The event will also support component, technology and services providers, and suppliers, as well as industry investors, in an effort to establish a dialogue with local regulators with the aim of fostering relationships to promote local gaming regulations. In all these have been the reasons for choosing Caracas as the first City in this series of FADJA business conferences". (E-07.12.06)
