Next July 12th Monterrey, the capital city of the border state of Nuevo León, will host the first GAMING BUSINESS ROUND MEXICO, at the state-of-the-art CINTERMEX convention center. The importance that this market has achieved has allowed the relaunch of the new format of 30 sq m trade stands with a 100-metre platinum sponsor area. The one-day event offers participants five hours (3 - 8 pm) of direct contact with the main regional operators in Room A of the Monterrey complex.

Technical training will be another crucial aspect of the GAMING BUSINESS ROUND MEXICO. A professional training course will be held in the morning, addressed to casino managers. The program will be completed with a luncheon engagement for Mexican businessmen, authorities and manufacturers.

Due to the fact that it is a trade event in a country that neither has a wide and defined legal frame nor a large volume of operating licenses, the exhibiting companies will have to utilise their own foreign trade agencies and enter properly nationalized equipment by July 11th. According to that institutional order imposed by CINTERMEX, the organizing company 3A Producciones and the Foreign Trade Agency ASAP, have signed a new agreement for the official counselling of manufacturers who want to present their products in Monterrey, altough this agreement does not force exhibitors to hire the recommended agency.

It is important to mention that this time the organization is not in charge of the necessary licenses for temporary admissions or free-trade zones (no tax collection), because the event will only be open to exhibitors that present their documents in line with Mexican Authorities. There is no difference between Class II machines (that present operating licenses in authorized casinos) and Class III (that currently operate under appeals for protection). Both classes will be subject to verification of the CINTERMEX authorities as well as Monterrey Customs before admission to the convention center.

GAMING BUSINESS ROUND will offer in Mexico, as well as in other markets, better planning to internationalize the development of the industry and reaffirm its character as a generator of tourism, business and networking, in key regions for the gambling sector.
