The board that regulates gaming in France and French territories, Courses et Jeux, has approved ATRONIC as its Wide Area Progressive (WAP) provider and ATRONIC´s System Division in Monaco as its operator. As a result, ATRONIC plans to connect approximately 100 venues to 400 electronic gaming machines (EGMs) by June of this year. The multi-site jackpot, SUPERJACK, will be open to all casino operators, small groups, or independents.

ATRONIC partnered with a joint venture group comprising casino operators Groupe Lucien Barrière, Groupe Tranchant and JOAGROUPE to test its SUPERJACK WAP in three casinos. It received temporary authorization to operate the jackpots in order to conduct a thorough technical and functional validation. The nine-month pilot took place between April and December 2008 at Casino OUISTREHAM (Barrière), Casino de Luc sur Mer (Tranchant), and Casino de Saint-Aubin (JOAGROUPE). ATRONIC installed three e-motion machines in each venue connected to the multi-site progressive jackpot.
