Figures for the SAGSE Centroamerica event on 14 & 15 June show that this year there was growth of almost 37% and more than 2,000 visitors. Now under the direction of Giorgio Gennari, president of Monografie SA, the exhibition has been renamed SAGSE Gaming & Entertainment Panama and next year on 12 & 13 June will have a new dimension. Space at the show will be increased and include entertainment as well as gaming, presenting an event of great importance in the Caribbean and Central America.

The excellent attendance of gaming professionals at this year’s event has confirmed SAGSE as a prime expo for the region. Amongst the visitors an estimated 47% were executives with buying powers and another 34% with considerable influence on purchasing decisions. Most came from the vibrant gaming sectors in Panama, Argentina, Peru and the USA, but there were also executives from El Salvador, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Aruba. For manufacturers such as Boss Gaming, which sold all its products on display and took orders for more, the SAGSE event in Panama is a ‘must’.

Next year the programme will include a Congress on the same days as the exhibition at the ATLAPA Convention Center. The Congress will cover all the relevant gaming topics with particular emphasis on training of personnel for this rapidly expanding industry. Monografie’s backing of the local industry with such an excellent show will consolidate it as the most important for the Caribbean and Central American region. Monografie also organises SAGSE Buenos Aires, well known and appreciated as the third largest gaming expo globally. This will take place in the Argentinean capital over 3, 4 & 5 October 2007.
