The leading provider of cash access services in casinos, Las Vegas based Global Cash Access, Inc. (GCA), has this year opened its International Headquarters in Macau. Last February the company set up the office to serve the rapidly growing Asia-Pacific gaming industry and offer full product demonstration capabilities. Later this month GCA will be participating in G2E Asia to formally introduce its state-of-the-art services and technologies to the Asian gaming industry.
GCA will be highlighting its EDITH kiosk, which allows patrons to purchase slot tickets with debit card and ATM transactions. The company will also demonstrate how its QuickJack Plus technology allows patrons to easily make ATM withdrawals from debit cards and credit cards, as well as redeem slot tickets for cash and break bills. G2E Asia, formerly The Asian Gaming Expo and Conference, is being held at the Macau Tower Convention & Entertainment Centre on 13-24 June 2007.
Scott Dowty, GCA’s senior vice president in charge of international business, commented: “Macau, and Asia overall, are probably the most exciting growth areas for our industry, and we’re committed to providing products, services and support that will help gaming properties excel and ensure the best experiences for their patrons. We’re eager to help the gaming industry set new standards of excellence in Asia.”
QuickCash Mobile is an easy-to-use, handheld device that serves as a mini-ATM, enabling casinos to offer credit and debit card cash advance capabilities directly to patrons on the floor, at the point of sale. GCA’s QCP Web browser for cashiers improves customer service, speeds and streamlines transactions and helps casinos keep track of activity. At the expo GCA will also demonstrate how Central Credit, a wholly-owned subsidiary with a proprietary database of gaming patron credit history and transaction data, supports and improves casinos’ credit-making decisions.
The company has already built a foothold in Asia. A recent sponsorship agreement with Banco Weng Hang SA enables GCA to offer its full suite services in Macau, and late last year GCA entered an agreement to provide cash access services to patrons of the StarWorld Hotel and Casino in Macau, the flagship property of Galaxy Casino, S.A. In addition, Central Credit, a wholly owned subsidiary of GCA, currently provides services to Wynn Macau and Sands Macau.
GCA serves over 1,000 casinos and other clients in the U.S., Canada, Europe, the Caribbean and Asia. With a singular focus on the worldwide casino industry, GCA provides proprietary technology that helps responsible patrons access cash via ATM, debit card, check cashing and credit card cash advance transactions for their gaming entertainment.
GCA (Macau) S.A. will be exhibiting at Booths 344 & 345 on Level 3. (E-06.01.07)
