The South-East European Gaming Expo Belgrade - GEB 2010, that will take place in Belgrade during 27-29 April, 2010 promises to be the event in the region focusing on casino equipment, video gaming and slot machines, multi-player machines, components and spares, Internet / On-Line gaming, betting software, information systems, CCTV and surveillance.
The leading worldwide manufacturers of gaming equipment and related programs, who recognize the importance of the South-East European market, will be in Belgrade. After the world leading expos – Las Vegas and London - Belgrade (Serbia) has been recognized as the dynamic buyers’ market of the gaming industry in South-East Europe.
The expo organizers say: “2009 was a year of challenge for many companies. The most important one now is to find the right way that would help you to maximize your business. GEB will assist you there. Feature new products at the only and largest trade fair of this type in the South-East Europe.”
The country’s Gaming Department, as a part of the Ministry of Finance, which regulates the industry, announced its participation as an exhibitor at the 4th GEB so that it can be at hand to provide information on the legal regulations and the investment possibilities in the local gaming industry as directly as possible, as there is a need for the new generation machines and new investors to compete in with new products and service quality.
High amongst the visitors to GEB will be operators from the Republic of Srpska in the state of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who are in need of new machines owing to new regulation from the Government last year, which specify June 2010 as the final deadline for the machine certification and adapting to the technical conditions.
At present, the new guidelines are only met by fewer than 4,000 used gaming devices. According to the new regulations, “each gambling machine put into operation for the first time must not be older than one year from the date of the application for approval of certification”, so operators from the Republic of Srpska will be in urgent need to buy new machines.
GEB concluded: “All existing companies, as well as those wishing to enter this industry, have the opportunity at the GEB event to improve their business in the fastest and most efficient way. As the greatest regional event of the gaming industry, the GEB enables three days of communication with your prospect buyers from the South-East Europe from April 27 – 29, 2010.” (E-03.18.10)
