As Gaming Laboratories International (GLI), the world’s first private gaming device and systems testing laboratory, prepares to take part for the first time in SAGSE Buenos Aires 2005 on 9-11 November, the company has added a new team member to its European office. Theo Vranken has joined GLI as Market Development Manager. Vranken will be based out of GLI Europe’s offices in The Netherlands and will pursue GLI’s development efforts in the rapidly growing Europe gaming market.
Vranken has been active in the gaming industry for more than 20 years, most recently serving as the Export Manager of the Fair Play Centers in the Netherlands. Vranken was also directly involved in its real estate management, and has consulted independently on AWPs. Roger Farrell, Director of Operations GLI Europe said, “We are thrilled to have Theo join the GLI team. He brings with him an extensive knowledge of the gaming and AWP industries, and a key understanding of the emerging markets in eastern European countries.”
Gaming Laboratories International, Inc. currently operates wholly owned and fully staffed gaming test laboratories in New Jersey, Colorado and Nevada in USA, Hillegom in The Netherlands, Pretoria in South Africa, and Bologna in Italy. Gaming Laboratories Australia operates fully accredited test laboratories in Sydney and Adelaide under license to Gaming Laboratories International, Inc. GLI employs around 350 people worldwide, providing more than 76,000 certifications annually to over 380 gaming regulatory bodies . GLI was founded in 1989 by James R. Maida and Paul J.
