It has been announced by organizers Reed Exhibitions that from 2006 the American Gaming Association event, the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas, will move to November. Officials at the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the exhibition is held, have agreed the use of the Central Hall and have confirmed the dates until 2010.

The days to mark in your five-year diary are: November 14-16, 2006; November 13-15, 2007; November 18-20, 2008; November 17-19, 2009; and November 16-18, 2010. Knowing the dates so far in advance should make planning easier for all exhibitors.

The use of the Central Hall, a one-storey building, makes for smoother traffic flow at the exhibition. It will also accommodate the projected growth amongst exhibitors and visitors and have sufficient space for the conferences and events at the show.

This year's trade show on 13-15 September has newly extended hours. Tuesday 13 is from 12 noon to 6pm; Wednesday 14 is from 10am to 6pm; and Thursday 15 is from 10am to 4:30pm. Also new are the Casino Property Tours arranged for September 12th and the box lunches that can be ordered with registration. Launched five years ago as 'by the industry and for the industry', G2E is ever more popular and a definite date for most in the gaming industry. (E-05.20.05)
