Uncertainty still inhibits travellers

GAMMEX forced to postpone Mexican show

As a consequence of the H1N1 virus, which has greatly affected the socio economic fabric of the country, the Gaming & Amusement Expo Mexico - GAMMEX has changed dates in response to numerous requests from prospective visitors and exhibitors alike, both local and foreign. The uncertainty in the travel schedules of business people, who have been advised to travel to Mexico only as a matter of urgency, is inhibiting movement for the local people also.

It is with regret and in order to safeguard the security and well being of exhibitors, clients and friends that the organizers of GAMMEX have decided to reschedule the expo date to 14&15 April, 2010. The decision has been taken after serious consultations with the Mexican authorities, with a view also to guarantee the best results for GAMMEX exhibitors.

"With the objective of giving GAMMEX 2010 added value and support, we are proposing that our registered exhibitors use our offices in Mexico as a business coordinating point", said Executive Director Izkrah Pinto. "We will gladly contact our clients with local operators between now and next year if they wish to do business in Mexico in advance of our expo, and can start working on this immediately".

Valeria Guzman, GAMMEX Marketing Manager said: "We wish to thank our exhibitors for their understanding in the face of such an unforeseen and unfortunate health risk situation, and once more would like to emphasise that you make use of our office for direct assistance with your business plan, and can count on our support at all times.”

GAMMEX 2010 has rescheduled its date at Mexico City’s signature venue World Trade Center for 14&15 April. For additional information please contact:
