Next week’s SAGSE show in Buenos Aires will prove to be a hectic time for IGT Latin America’s Director of Sales for Latin America, Norma da Silva, and her sales team. While the international release of the new Multiplay Progressive game, Sex and the City, will be a star attraction, Norma also expects enormous interest in the largest number of new themes ever to be released by IGT at any trade show in Latin America.
“I almost cannot believe we’ve done it” is how Norma describes what it has taken to bring together over one hundred and twenty machines including over seventy different themes, eight multi-level progressives and five cabinet styles including the recently released MP Series Automated Roulette.
IGT’s Managing Director for Latin America, John Wimsett describes the range of products on offer as “continuing proof of IGT’s commitment to the Latin American market.” In a separate area totally dedicated to system solutions IGT will feature its Advantage, Casinolink and EZPay products.
SAGSE Buenos Aires 2009, the largest gaming trade show in Latin America is anticipating in excess of 6,000 visitors, and will take place on September 30 through October 2 at the Costa Salguero Convention Center in Buenos Aires.
This year, Reed Exhibitions and the American Gaming Association (AGA), the organizers of Las Vegas Global Gaming Expo (G2E) and its family of events, will partner with international gaming event organizer Monografie S.A. to produce the Argentine event. (E-09.25.09)
