For James Boje London is the Right place at the Right time

IGT showcases The Right Choice at IGE 2009

Tomorrow is the big day in London, where IGE 2009 opens its doors with global industry leader International Game Technology’s IGT-Europe taking centre stage on Stands 3430 and 3630, where Managing Director James Boje and his team will surely be worked off their feet over the next three days.

Boje said: “IGE 2009 provides the stage for IGT to show that we have the right machines, right now. IGT-Europe will be launching outstanding new cabinets, the Advanced Video Platform (AVP) and associated new game library, and sbX - all of which deliver high performance standards with a focus on flexibility, functionality and ease of service.

The performance-oriented AVP makes for a lot of machine and muscle to run it all, with clear, crisp graphics, downloadable player panel buttons, downloadable buttons and digital glass for quick game conversions, USB ports “plug-and-play”, and standardized electronics.

The new AVP Cabinet Designs, with the new G20, G20 Bartop, G22 and G23 video cabinet designs, house the AVP platform and will be exhibited at IGE 2009. A fresh lineup of AVP games offered on the new cabinets, as well as player favorites that have been made AVP compatible, will prove that IGT has the depth and game styles required to meet customer and player demands.

“The S AVP and S MLD cabinets will showcase our popular reel themes”, Boje added, “and the new themes released on the phenomenal, award winning REELdepth technology featuring Multi-Layer Display (MLD) technology which gives players a true 3-D gaming experience. Most exciting is the flexibility to switch between 3-, 4- and 5-reel games, video slots and video poker with Winners Choice Multi-Game capability on standard games.”

It’s go time for sbX, as it is first offered in a simple bank-by-bank package that gives operators the power to implement server-based technology at a pace that’s right for their business. By adding banks of AVP models on a floor, IGT customers gain access to their rich AVP game library and powerful floor management tools.

Boje concluded: “IGT has a plan to help the transition to sbX). As more sbX functionality) is introduced to a floor, legacy games will continue to operate side-by-side with newer G2S machines like IGT’s new AVP models. The sbX network will co-exist with an existing casino management system and the transition can be executed at our customer’s pace, allowing operators to communicate with players via the Service Window or a secondary display. IGE 2009 is the Right place at the Right time. IGT is the Right Choice.” (E-01.26.09)
