International Game Technology’s Premium and Premium-Plus series of games have proven to be so successful in the Italian gaming markets that Casino Municipale di Venezia is planning an installation of a new mix of the progressive reel and video slot games. The list includes heavy-hitters like the "Harley-Davidson Free Ride" video slots, and both of the popular Frank Sinatra themes, "Gift Wheel" and "Record Deal", in addition to the newest version of reel slot "Wheel of Gold" with 25 credits and "Multi-Strike Poker".

Profit-proven themes "Elvira Mistress of the Dark", "Wheel of Fortune Extra Spin" and 18 Reeler "Cash Convoy", installed last year, have continued a tradition of success at Casino Venice which, in turn, now devotes just over 10% of its casino floor to this one product line.

The management at Casino di Venezia is first to acknowledge that the games are not only proven performers, but the ‘big names’ serve as an attract feature for the casino and contribute to its competitive edge. In addition to the new game mix, more Italian players than ever before will experience multi-denomination progressive play as all these new games are to be installed with the now standard IGT Progressive Controller. IPC offers progressive metering for different denominations of play and, as such, is the only system of its kind in the industry.
