Innocore, the UK based engineering-centric company specialized in the design and production of industrial computer boards for gaming applications, has a long history in embedded computing stretching back 20 years. In booth 3332 at IGE 2009, during 27-29 January, apart from a full DPX range on show, Innocore will also be officially launching the brand new DPX-E105, a complete industrial computer system that offers great performance, great "looks" and very low power consumption with the cost effective Intel ATOM processor.

A full feature set of I/O and COMs designed specifically for gaming devices is also included making the DPX-E105 an ideal integrated platform for many gaming, amusement and kiosk applications. The overall system is fanless and the gaming functions share the same API as Innocore´s other DPX- series boards.

The DPX-E105 comes as an "all-in-one-box" solution. The system is housed in an attractive, high performance Aluminium extruded case that combines small dimensions, 229x180x77mm (9.0x7.1x3.0"), with state of the art passive cooling and rugged construction. The powerful 1.6 GHz ATOM CPU runs with only very modest heat dissipation (2.5W) and offers excellent graphics performance for 2 independent displays through the integrated graphics engine.

Craig Stapleton, Innocore´s Product Director commented, "We have been looking for a way to expand our DPX range of products to enable us to enter the value end of the market where more traditional non X86 based controller boards have been dominant for many years. The market has been crying out for the flexibility of a PC based platform but at a price point comparable with the controller based systems. With the Intel Atom CPU and chipset along with Innocore´s already extensive DPX roadmap of products and Gaming PC know how we have been able to provide the perfect solution."

As with all other Innocore products, the supported Operating Systems are Windows XP, XP Embedded and Linux. Thanks to the consequent application of Innocore´s standard API, this product is compatible with the DPX-S and DPX-C series. Drivers are available to support many existing gaming peripherals, allowing a short time to market. All Innocore designs are based on 10+ years of Industrial PC designs, Innocore offers the largest range of PC based boards designed exclusively for the gaming industry.
