On March 3rd at the Caribbean Gaming Show 2011 in the Sans Souci Ports Convention Center, Santo Domingo, iovation Vice President Max Anhoury will present fraud prevention strategies and new technologies for Caribbean online casinos, sportsbooks, poker networks and bingo sites. Anhoury will examine strategies for identifying high-risk transactions in order to prevent financial fraud and player abuses.
Just last year iGaming clients reported and shared 350,000 fraud attempts through iovation's device reputation service. Within iovation's knowledge base of more than 500 million unique devices from every country in the world, a large majority of those devices have been used on gaming sites.
For a recent gaming customer integration that does not accept any U.S. traffic, 45% of the new accounts created were from devices that iovation had seen before. 50% of those devices had over 6 months experience with iovation and 32% had a year or more. On average, iovation has experience with 50% of new traffic to any online site.
iovation is at the forefront of fraud prevention strategies in the iGaming sector, and during the CGS 2011 in Dominican Republic, Anhoury will explain why merchants recognize iovation Fraud Protection for Innovation to mitigate online payment risk. And it is a mark of iovations quality that representatives from leading brands including BestBuy.com, eBay, Go Daddy, HP, Microsoft, NCsoft, Tiffany & Co., and Urban Outfitters, have named iovation a finalist for the 2011 MRC Emerging Technology Awards, which will be announced later in the month at the MRC e-Commerce Payments and Risk Conference held at the Las Vegas Wynn.
iovation’s recent innovations include the release of ReputationManager 360, the largest device reputation repositiory on the planet, Real IP proxy-busting which makes geolocation more accurate and better identifies transactions where fraudsters are trying to evade recognition, and extended mobile capabilities with SDKs for smart phones.
