Casinos looking to capitalise on the opportunities of 2010 will embrace Server Based Gaming according to BetStone, the pioneer in Server Based Gaming. At this year’s International Gaming Expo in London, Server Based Gaming was widely acknowledged as a key tool for casinos in 2010. BetStone has seen a massive increase in enquiries about its Server Based Gaming platform following the announcement of its 100 games milestone. Casino operators in this space consulted with BetStone to find out how this technology would address the need to maintain growth in the current climate, evolving legislation in differing markets and intense competition.
With further speculation mounting that the US is preparing to rollout new legislation around online and land based gaming, BetStone has seen further interest at the show following its multichannel partnership announcement with Microgaming and Spin3. This partnership enables Operators access a multichannel gaming solution as well as the latest in cutting edge gaming software under the umbrella of a common platform; covering online, land-based and mobile gaming.
Both the Italian and South American markets were seen by delegates at IGE 2010 as having the most growth potential. BetStone has already seen major success in the adoption and implementation of its Server Based Gaming platform in 2009, as these markets embrace Server Based Gaming offering players access to the latest dynamic game content with the minimum of implementation downtime.
“The whole casino gaming landscape has dramatically changed since last year,” said Marzia Turrini, Head of Business Development, BetStone. “It has forced Casino operators to seriously re-evaluate their spending and planning priorities. The world is starting to come out of recession and we are seeing a serious uptake of Server Based Gaming technology as a lean solution that delivers value and return on investment as operators move from survival mode to seeing how they can capitalise on new opportunities. In short, they see Server Based Gaming as a key part of that equation.” (E-02.05.10)
