Players in Europe are set to benefit from a faster first taste of new Aristocrat games following the global gaming organisation’s adoption of GLI11 standards in its new Gen 7 world base. Aristocrat has already advanced its planned European roll-out of the new VIRIDIAN WS widescreen cabinet and many of the 30-plus new games being launched at January’s ICE show in London will be immediately available, subject to jurisdictional approvals. Other new concepts being unveiled on stand 3415 are now being re-scheduled for European release in the second and third quarters of the year, compared with earlier forecasts of 2012.

President of Aristocrat Americas, Nick Khin has recently taken added responsibility for overseeing operations across the EMEA region. As a former Head of Aristocrat Europe, he understands the anticipation that European operators have experienced whilst waiting for the latest games to filter down from the United States, Australasia, Asia and other regions that historically took first bite of the cherry.

“Overseas customers visiting the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas are often saying ‘that’s a great game…when will it be available to us?’ To which the response has frequently led to a far from ideal conclusion. Aristocrat is set to stage its first worldwide product unveiling in Europe for more than five years when the new multi line game Aristocrat All Stars makes its debut appearance on stand 3415 at ICE 2011. The antebet game, developed natively for the new VIRIDIAN WS widescreen format, features characters and free game styles from five classic Aristocrat games: 50 Lions, Geisha, Miss Kitty, Mystic Mermaid and Sun and Moon.

A left to right win of two classic characters with a wild substituting on reel three triggers a free games feature based on the respective characters; for example, 2x 50 Lions plus wild triggers the classic 50 Lions free game feature with added wilds. Other feature styles include ‘multiplied wins’, ‘sticky wilds’, ‘stretched wild’ and ‘mixed wilds’. Playing the antebet also opens up golden opportunities to win the VIP bonus feature, with three or more All Stars scatters awarding five or more free games in one of the wild features. (E-01.25.11)
