The January exhibitions at ICE Totally Gaming in London and IMA in Düsseldorf were the perfect settings for the gaming world to see a whole array of innovations from APEX gaming. These included the new Pinnacle SL slant top machine, brand new 3D games incorporated in the new Evolution platform and the further development of the Quikker electronic card game. Another major innovation that stood out was the brand new Shuffle King.

The Shuffle King is a card shuffler specifically designed for table games, designed to shuffle a single, full deck of cards. It takes less than a minute - 58 seconds to be precise - to shuffle a full deck of cards. Both plastic cards and paper cards can be shuffled. The Shuffle King ensures a 100% random shuffle each and every time as the cards are shuffled in two cycles.

The Shuffle King has been designed for cards with the dimensions 88mm x 63mm. The intelligent layout also allows for smaller cards – namely 88mm x 57mm. Although the standard number of cards is 52, dealers can shuffle any number of cards below this number. The electronic display shows exactly how many cards have been shuffled each time. The Shuffle King will allow up to 56 cards for shuffling. A warning signal informs the dealer should any card become embedded with the Shuffle King or the cards shuffled not correspond to the number of cards entered – giving dealers complete piece of mind.

The Shuffle King has already been tried and tested in the casino environment. APEX gaming worked closely together with its partner in the design of the Shuffle King and is the international distributor for the Shuffle King.
