Since 2000 the Konami Group has been manufacturing and selling casino machines in North America, and in June last year transferred an expanded production system to a new location in Las Vegas. Following the ongoing growth to its Gaming and Systems business, the Group is now looking towards Latin America and the Caribbean. For six years Konami has exhibited at the Caribbean Gaming Conference and this year becomes a Bronze Sponsor.
Director of Sales Deron Hunsberger commented, “From the start, industry leaders have thrown their support behind the show.” He continued, “The educational program is intelligent, the scheduling is efficient, and the quality of attendee is very high. This is the place to be as we continue to grow and expand into the Caribbean and Latin America gaming markets.” The 8th annual Caribbean Gaming & Hospitality Conference 2006 has moved to a new location at the brand new Puerto Rico Convention Center.
Konami sells reliable, technically innovative gaming machines and casino management systems with a high level of entertainment. Konami's casino management systems use the latest technology and software and the number of casinos in North America installing the company's systems is increasing every year. The company holds gaming manufacturing licenses in all Australian states and territories and a large number of licenses in North America, including Nevada, the center of gaming, and New Jersey, the largest market on the USA east coast.
With a Gaming Machine Research and Development Center in Zama, southwest of Tokyo, where leading-edge gaming machines are developed, Konami plans to obtain the remaining North American licenses and to expand its sales territory worldwide. Latest products from Konami will be on show at CG&HC 2006 on 13-14 June in Puerto Rico, where business and educational experience will be 100% Caribbean-directed and roundtables and seminars will cover topics of interest within the Latin American region.
