Towards the end of last week the municipal authorities of Lima informed the organizers of Peru Gaming Show that the new Jockey Club convention centre had serious problems of vehicular access that would hinder trucks and car traffic for tomorrow's Peru Gaming Show 2009. Elizabeth Leiva, Business & Leisures CEO, the event organizer decided immediately to focus on setting up the expo back at the Jockey Plaza Mall, site of previous PGS events.
It has been an ardous week for PGS 2009 organizers, who have advised exhibitors, overseas speakers to the II Latin American Conference, which is part of the Lima event, freight forwarders, registred visitors and local authorities about this last minute change. Yesterday, as we visited the event pemises, an army of people were getting ready for the expo, which promises a large attendance in this buoyant city.
In its seventh year, PGS 2009 is set for Thursday 27 and Friday 28 with leading gaming companies such as Novomatic and Crown Gaming fom Austria, Casino Technology from Bulgaria, Zest Gaming from Italy, Xploxion from Spain, Cybercash from China, Stargames and Kangaroo Gaming from Australia, Gold Club of Slovenia, Río Claro Tecnología from Brazil, Intervision from Cyprus, Interblock and Crown Casino Seating from USA, and many others.
