At G2E Asia, stand number 1105, Octavian International will show its new 'Powered by Novomatic' Maverick EGMs, as well as introducing to the Asian market two new casino systems, plus new games and multi-player solutions.

The Maverick Novo Platinum is the latest version of Octavian's self-assembly Maverick 1000 EGM and games kit. This new edition, produced under an agreement with Novomatic and now available for the Asian market, is supplied with the Novomatic Coolfire™ I platform, with HOT SPOT™ PLATINUM games titles. Other variants of the Maverick EGM on the Octavian stand will run new Octavian video slot titles including Irish Eyes, Ramesses Riches, Dolphin Reef, all of which are on show for the first time in Asia.

Helen Hedgeland, Head of Marketing at Octavian said, “The revolutionary self-assembly Maverick concept enables local machine manufacturers and distributors to make the latest EGM performance and network/peripheral connectivity extremely affordable and desirable for operators of all sizes.” “That’s because the Maverick has been developed for easy local assembly and loading of games content by staff that require no special technical skills,” added Hedgeland. According to Octavian, in many markets this can result in considerable savings in areas such as duties, taxes and labour costs.

Two new Octavian casino systems – Octavian GateManager and Octavian CashManager – will also make their debut in Macau following their highly successful international launch at AGE Sydney last year.

“Octavian GateManager and Octavian CashManager meet the demanding operational and financial reporting/auditing needs of the modern casino operator in increasingly regulated markets,” said Hedgeland. “Not only do they provide rich, easy-to-use functionality in their own right, these systems connect seamlessly to our powerful ACP (Accounting, Control, Progressives) slots management system to create the ultimate end-to-end tables and slots management solution.”

To demonstrate further the flexibility of its systems, Octavian will also feature the ‘My ACP’ variant of its ACP slot management system, managing IGT gaming machines running the highly popular EZ Pay® TITO (Ticket In Ticket Out) system.

The company’s OctaSupplies division, meanwhile, will showcase video games tables from TableMAX of Las Vegas. TableMAX is a patented, state-of-the-art multiplayer video gaming machine available in a range of flexible configurations that maximise use of floor space. TableMAX enables multiple players to enjoy simulated versions of traditional casino card games (which can be easily adapted to suit local markets) while seated in comfort around a 50-inch plasma or LCD screen.
