With more than 40 years’ experience of designing, manufacturing and supplying products to accept and pay out coins and banknotes, money handling experts Money Controls have re-emphasised their support for the South American market by certifying Samalir S.A as the exclusive distributor for Uruguay territory. Aquiles Mila de la Roca, Money Controls’ Director of Sales for Latin America said: “Samalir S.A, and in particular Manuel Saravia, have a number of year’s experience with bill validators and a good relationship with casino operators. We haven’t used a distributor specifically for Uruguay before so this is a good opportunity for us, and reinforces our commitment to the region.”

As well as distribution and sales, Samalir S.A will provide technical support. Manuel Saravia, Director at Samalir S.A said: “We are delighted to be able to form this association with Money Controls. Money Controls are constantly updating their products to meet the requirements of the market, and we are in a good position to utilise our experience to ensure customers in Uruguay get the very best product.”

Amongst Money Controls’ products Samalir S.A will distribute is the Ardac Elite, the first and only field proven imaging bill validator. The Ardac Elite’s state of the art imaging technology ensures the highest standard of validation. Either on the gaming machine display, or by simply plugging in a PDA via the USB port, an image of the last note inserted can be displayed.
