During the IGE show MEI will be exhibiting its portfolio of products that offer Gaming and Amusement operators the highest acceptance rates, unrivalled security, best jam performance, and lowest cost of ownership in the industry. Demonstrating its value proposition, MEI will be displaying CASHFLOW SC—the product that has raised the standard for bill validators across the globe.
Also presented on the booth will be the new GEO Gravity, multiwidth
stackerless bill validator intended for smaller scale casinos and amusement operators. Its small footprint enables street gaming operators to profit from the MEI value when CASHFLOW SC cannot be fitted, but an appropriate level of performance is still expected, effectively balancing performance and price.
MEI will also feature an innovative solution for the casino applications: CASHFLOW Sphinx. Sphinx is a counter-top counterfeit detection device that strengthens the defence against fraudulent currency by protecting cages on the casino floor. Operators can now achieve the same level of security in their cage that CASHFLOW SC brings to the slot floor. To receive a product demonstration, please visit stand 4150 during IGE.
At IGE, MEI will be exhibiting a variety of other products. CASHFLOW 9500, the coin accepter with the highest acceptance rates and allows operators to adjust the coin population. EASITRAX Soft Count, the integrated software/hardware solution that places information collected in the CASHFLOW SC bill validator into a database that can be networked to multiple locations and be accessed to analyze slot floor performance. MEI BNR, four denominations recycler with two 30-note recyclers and two 60-note recyclers—allowing the operator to configure to meet their needs. Its 600-note cashbox holds the notes that are not being recycled and the overflow of notes when the recyclers are full.
About MEI Today, MEI systems are relied upon for more than 2 billion transactions per week in over 100 countries. The company developed the first electronic coin mechanism in the 1960s followed by the first electronic non-contact bill acceptor, and more recently the vending management system. Today MEI has the largest worldwide installed base of unattended payment mechanisms. In 2007, MEI reached a milestone of selling more than four million bill acceptors and five million coin mechanisms worldwide. Its products are in widespread use in the vending, soft drink, gaming, amusement, transportation, retail, and kiosk markets. (E-01.07.10)
