Aristocrat Millioni$er makes another millionaire

RETIRED SCHOOLTEACHER WINS JACKPOT

The Santa Fe Station Hotel Casino in Las Vegas was the scene of the latest Millioni$er jackpot win. A retired schoolteacher who had stopped to play before going to his second career as a teamster scooped the top jackpot award after 20 minutes. The man, who is retaining his anonymity, said that he really enjoyed playing the penny slots “because they give you a lot of enjoyment, and that’s what gambling is all about,” adding that the Millioni$er machines were so popular that it was difficult to get a game. The lucky winner is already planning to buy a new car for his wife and help his children finish college. His favourite game certainly paid out dividends for him with just a $30 investment.

The Santa Fe Station winner is the 14th player to win the Grand Jackpot on Aristocrat Technologies’ Millioni$er four-level mystery progressive penny slot games. Millioni$er offers a static top jackpot of $1 million in Nevada and $500,000 in most other jurisdictions due to regulatory requirements. The Millioni$er Hyperlink feature is available on a number of Aristocrat MKVI base video slot games. Like Aristocrat’s other Hyperlink progressives -- Zorro, Pelé Legendary Goals, Cash Express, Penny Train, and Jackpot Carnival -- the breakthrough Millioni$er features a patented second-screen feature with four different jackpot levels that can be triggered randomly during game play. The four-tiered progressives give Millioni$er a higher hit frequency so players win jackpots more often.

Las Vegas based Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. designs and markets gaming machines and the OASIS management system as well as progressive systems and progressive jackpot meters. The company is a subsidiary of Aristocrat Leisure Limited, which is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange. (E-08.11.05)
