Aristocrat and Cantor Gaming announce content license agreement

MOBILE GAMING IN NEVADA AND BEYOND

color="#666666" size="2" face="Arial, Helvetica, sans-serif"> In June 2005 Nevada Governor Kenny Guinn signed legislation paving the way for mobile gaming to be allowed on the premises of Nevada's casino resorts. Cantor Gaming was instrumental in the passage of Assembly Bill 471 and was also the first company licensed as a manufacturer, distributor and operator of a mobile gaming system by the Nevada Gaming Commission.

Yesterday, Aristocrat Technologies, Inc., US subsidiary of Australian leading provider of technology-driven products for the casino gaming industry, announced that it had signed a slot content licensing agreement with Cantor Gaming, an affiliate of the global financial services company Cantor Fitzgerald. Under terms of the agreement, Aristocrat’s game content will be offered via Cantor’s mobile gaming system to wireless, handheld devices in casinos worldwide.

Kent Young, Global General Manager of Marketing for Aristocrat, said: "We are excited to join efforts with Cantor to deliver our proven games to casinos and their customers through this new mobile medium. Aristocrat's proven successful slot content combined with Cantor's history and expertise in the gaming and financial arenas with secure mobile transactions will offer a new and exciting player experience."

“We are thrilled to partner with Aristocrat on mobile gaming,” said Cantor Gaming Managing Director, Joe Asher. “Their innovative content is extremely popular with customers around the world and we are excited to be able to offer it in this new distribution channel. Adding Aristocrat’s content to our system further enhances our standing as the leader in mobile gaming, which promises to provide exciting gaming opportunities to casino customers and incremental revenue-growth opportunities for casino operators.”

Mobile gaming allows the play of traditional casino-style games such as blackjack, baccarat, poker, slots and proprietary games on wireless, hand-held devices, and Nevada is the first state in USA to authorize gaming on mobile devices in public areas of casino resorts, including lobbies, lounges, restaurants and poolside. Las Vegas-based Aristocrat Technologies, Inc. designs and markets gaming machines, casino management systems, and progressive systems and is the Americas distributor of Interblock multi-station gaming devices.
