This year Barcelona-based Nova Desitec will exhibit at the casino expo ICE for the first time, after last year exhibiting at the ATEI show. Their new game, ‘World of Pirates’ will be a highlight at their stand, after being a roaring success at last month's Eelex 2005 expo in Moscow.

"World of Pirates" is the latest development of the company, and includes several new features such as 15 winning lines and a maximum bet of 225 coins. It is also the first time that Nova Desitec has combined a Bonus game with credit wins, and a Bonus game with Free Games where the prizes are tripled. The game has some exceptional graphic animations and includes a scatter Bonus as well as an interactive Double Up feature. Thore Nöll, Director of Sales and Marketing pointed out: “We have been very careful during the design of the game to ensure that all the different elements and features have an interaction with the player.”

Nova Desitec has been very active in the gaming expos this year, exhibiting at G2E in Las Vegas, SAGSE 2004 in Buenos Aires, and attending other expos where their games were presented by local distributors. In Moscow, the Nova Desitec games were exhibited on ten different stands, and capitalized on the intensive pre-show activity by the company, signing up some important commercial agreements with the companies SmartGames and Fair Play from Russia, as well as DLV from Latvia and Gamesystem from Poland. All of them are official distributors for the products made by Nova Desitec and participated in the Moscow exhibition.

Nöll explained that there had been a great number of their clients who could not see all their products in Moscow, and he has extended an invitation for them to visit the Nova Desitec stand no. 3640 in London, adding: "We are very happy with the results obtained by our distributors in that area, and we are convinced that the next year will be extraordinary as we have started several new and interesting projects that we expect to have ready for our customers during the next year.”

Last September, visiting Nova Desitec's offices in Barcelona, it was good to find a new manufacturer with a Research and Development department developing products all the way from original concept right through to graphic design, and including both hardware and software. Joint Managing Directors Raúl Ortin and Jordi Ferrer created Nova Desitec in 1997, after working for many years in the amusement sector.
