Spanish manufacturers pool resources in a joint strategy agreement

NOVA DESITEC AND EXTREME GAMES TEAM UP

Spanish slot manufacturers Extreme Games and Nova Desitec have effected a joint strategy agreement to pool their resources. The objective is to make use of their particular skills and optimize the presentation and distribution of their products. The collaboration agreement will enable both manufacturers to promote new products, take advantage of distribution channels and increase joint actions in those markets where both companies have a presence right now.

Extreme Games is a young company from Madrid with extensive experience in the marketing and distribution of products both in Europe and Latin America. Nova Desitec is an established manufacturer and designer from Barcelona, specialising in the development of games based on their own hardware and software systems, which can be integrated with the majority of machines on the market. They currently have an extensive catalogue of more than thirty games. The fact that both companies coincide in their objectives and that they complement each other has made it easy for them to enter into the agreement.

Raul Ortin, Managing Director of Nova Desitec said: “We’ve had a series of talks owing to the project’s scope and ambition, but at no time were they difficult. From the very first moment we have coincided in the fundamental issue, which is that the position of both companies in the current market allows us to work together. And this without a reduction in the autonomy of either of the companies involved.”

Basically the agreement establishes that Extreme Games will undertake the manufacture and distribution of gaming machines, based on Nova Desitec technology, to all markets. Nova Desitec will continue to supply its games in the form of kits to its present customers.

Angel Gallego, Managing Director of Extreme Games said: “We believe that we can mutually benefit from the experience of the two companies to design, in the near future, innovative products for sectors such as casinos and the new trends in multi-position machines. Our collaboration will make us stronger and we are convinced that the effects will be noticeable in the short term.” (S-06.17.05)
