Spanish company’s new products a hit in Colombia

NOVA DESITEC GETS ESTABLISHED IN THE REGION

In an international press conference at FADJA 2006, Santiago Tirado, Nova Desitec Sales Manager for Latin America, commented that the company’s participation in the Colombian expo had achieved everything it had expected. Visitors had been able to view the new games for the local market and learn about the company’s new commercial strategy for the region. “The Colombian market is fundamental for us as it our gateway to Latin America. Our participation at this show is important because we are starting a new a period in the country and establishing an office here. Obviously we are giving notice to our clients and operators in Colombia.”

Santiago Tirado was happy to report that Nova Desitec products had been well received, particularly games such as ‘Return of the Pharaoh’, ‘Don Quijote’ and ‘Robin Hood’; and that ‘Photo Safari in Australia’ had proved immensely popular with the public in Colombia, as it had at ICE in London. Nova Desitec expects its presence in the region to continue growing, and already has agreements in Peru and an active sales programme in Argentina.

“We are establishing our position and concluding agreements in South America, but also intend to focus on the Central American markets in the short term. Nova Desitec is looking at a 100% expansion in Latin America, one of the reasons we will be exhibiting at SAGSE Panamá in May.” The Nova Desitec department of Research & Development is constantly busy with designing innovative products, which the company will be demonstrating at gaming industry exhibitions throughout the year.
