The Novomatic product line-up presents a whole new dimension of multiplayer gaming: the new serverbased platform Novo Unity II. More than half of the booth space is devoted to a comprehensive presentation of the multitude of new possibilities opened by this groundbreaking multiplayer technology innovation. Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette, Novo Multi-Roulette, Novo Flying Roulette, Novo TouchBet Live-Baccarat, Novo TouchBet Live-Black Jack and Novo TouchBet Live-Sic Bo as well as the new electronic live gaming table TX-01 featuring Novo Texas Hold’em Poker and the Novo Wheel of Cash are installed in a huge networked multiplayer live cluster at ICE.

The entire range of games has been graphically redesigned in full 3D and transferred to the new Novo Unity II platform. At ICE they present themselves as the interoperable multiplayer product family of choice for the future of gaming.

Novo Unity II – the ultimate gaming innovation
Development and innovation have always enhanced and expanded the product stream, but the creative ethos of Novomatic constantly demands more. Making the best better is never anything less than a huge challenge but Novomatic’s engineers have combined gaming knowledge and creativity with engineering excellence in order to succeed in moving the multiplayer genre that their company first created even further ahead. With the new multiplayer platform Novo Unity II Novomatic has made a vital step into the future of gaming with a pioneering concept.

Novo Unity II is an innovative platform for the flexible operation of all Novomatic multiplayers in one networked system. It allows operators to choose any number and combination of Novomatic multiplayer games to offer on each of the individual player terminals. This new flexibility is based on the networked structure of the new Novo Unity II installation layout. A database server forms the central interface for the communication among all linked game servers, that host the information from the peripheral devices, and the individual player terminals.

Multi-game functionality
This networked structure allows the operator to actually offer his guests all linked multiplayer games on each of the connected player stations. An easy game management via the serverbased operating menu offers unrivalled flexibility for the casino management. The operator can map his complete multiplayer floor layout, define individual groupings, unlock and block certain games on chosen terminals and thus flexibly adapt his multiplayer offering on demand to varying requirements.

In order to extend his multiplayer game range and add another game to his offering the operator just needs to acquire the Novomatic game software package, the required game server and the new game-specific periphery, such as optical card shoe reader for Baccarat or black Jack, if necessary. The available game range includes all versions of electronic Novomatic multiplayers, which include: Novo TouchBet Live-Roulette, Novo Multi-Roulette and Novo Flying Roulette; Novo TouchBet Live-Black Jack and Novo Flying Black Jack; NovotouchBet Live-Baccarat and Novo Flying Baccarat. For Baccarat read Punto Banco/Banca in some countries.

Other multiplayer games included are: Novo TouchBet Live-Sic Bo, Novo Multi-Sic Bo and Novo Flying Sic Bo; Novo Multi-Keno, Novo Flying Keno, and Novo Rapid Keno. Additionally, the new 10-player-station live-gaming table TX-01 for the Novomatic range of Poker games and the virtual Roulette version Novo Wheel of Cash that can be alternatively played on this table.

The complete range of Novomatic multiplayer games have been newly developed to satisfy the demands of modern gaming, thrill customers with attractive design and offer room for the multitude of extra features. Such features as the multi-game functionality that allows the player to individually select the type of game as well as the specific tavle he wants to play on directly at his player terminal. Via the game selection screen he can choose the game type (roulette, Baccarat, Sic Bo...) and table. After each played game the guest can choose to switch to another table of the same game type since the game screen constantly displays the choice of all available tables. Further extra features are Multi-Denomination and multi-language options, live camera picture (for Novo TouchBet Live- and Novo Multi-versions) and a great variety of side bets, help menus, general navigation buttons and info screens.

Novo Unity II was developed to be the platform for the future of multiplayer gaming. It is a future-proof product operators can rely on and the basis for a great number of upcoming Novomatic product developments that will significantly influence the international gaming floors now and in the future.

At ICE guests have the opportunity to try and test the new functionalities on the Novo-Vision Slant Top II and Novo-Bar (Slant Top version) cabinets as well as on two 10-player-station live gaming tables, both featuring Novo Texas Hold’em Poker and the Novo Wheel of Cash.

More choice, more style, more room for gaming
Novo-Bar is not just an ideal space saving solution for bar and lounge areas where limited space has until now precluded the installation of a standard cabinet. It is also available as a highly attractive slant top terminal in its own right, a new concept that perfectly complements Novomatic’s existing range of multiplayer cabinets.

First class multiplayer gaming comfort is guaranteed with Novomatic’s Novo-Vision Slant Top II. It features a 26” bottom touch screen plus an optional second 26” top screen for a new dimension of multiplayer gaming excitement. The Novo-Vision Slant Top II brings sophisticated style and exclusive comfort to any casino floor.

Jens Halle, Managing Director of Austrian Gaming Industries GmbH, notes: “At this year’s ICE we present a truly ground-breaking array of product innovations. The Novo Unity II platform will open our customers a whole new approach to gaming floor management. It endows them with a highly flexible tool for an individual fine-tuning of their gaming offering. I am convinced that also the new games and cabinets will be absolute highlights of the London show. It will be a pleasure to meet face-to-face with our customers and partners and present these great casino and gaming innovations live and personally at ICE."
