OEG opens a new casino in Lithuania

A taste of the tropics in Siauliai

The Lithuanian subsidiary of Olympic Entertainment Group (OEG) has opened its first casino in the city of Siauliai following an investment of €1 million. The new tropically designed Olympic Casino is located in the Akropolis shopping centre and offers over an area of 450 square metres thirty-one slot machines, four casino tables and a well stocked bar.

Newly opened Olympic Casino is the second casino in Siauliai with casino tables. With 130 000 inhabitants Siauliai is the fourth largest city in Lithuania. OEG entered the Lithuanian market in 2001. In addition to the new casino in Siauliai the company has 10 more casinos in Lithuania – six in the capital city Vilnius, two in Kaunas, one in Klaipeda, and one in Panevezys.

Olympic Entertainment Group is one of the largest casino entertainment providers in the region, employing around 3900 people. OEG is a full member of the European Casino Association. Today the Group operates casinos in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine, Romania, Poland and Slovakia. Shares of OEG are traded on the main lists of the Tallinn Stock Exchange and the Warsaw Stock Exchange. (E-03.16.09)
