NTGCR heads to Buffalo Thunder Resort for Spring Conference

BMM licensed by Ohio Lottery

BMM has announced that as of March 9, 2012 it was approved by the Ohio Lottery and awarded a VLT Technology Provider License. The license permits BMM to enter into contracts and ship product to licensed video lottery sales agents doing business in Ohio. BMM currently maintains over 350 licenses and recognitions globally.

This license is particularly important to BMM as it not only furthers BMM's coverage across the US but it enables the company to offer its technical expertise, of 30 years, to the regulators, gaming related manufacturers and operators conducting business within the Ohio Lottery.

BMM's COO Mike Dreitzer said "BMM is pleased and proud to be licensed by the Ohio Lottery. BMM has worked closely with the Ohio Lottery Commission and wishes to thank Bureau Chief, Jim Bonnette and staff for their assistance during the licensing process."

On the Conference side of business, BMM's Richard Williamson will be presenting an informative seminar on Securing Systems at the upcoming National Tribal Gaming Commissioners / Regulators (NTGCR) Conference scheduled in beautiful Santé Fe, New Mexico this month. The workshop will explore the regulatory issue of creating controls to secure gaming Systems, thus protecting operational assets of the entity. Particular emphasis will be placed on software changes and access controls.

The presentation will include the results of research into gaming rules that have been adopted within the gaming industry, how these rules are being implemented and how a regulator might adopt and execute a best practices regulatory approach to ensure a secure and auditable systems environment.
