C&GS GROUP announces speakers at CGS 2011 Conference

IGT, Iovation and BMM Compliance represented

C&GS GROUP, organizers of the Caribbean Gaming Show 2011, announced specialist speakers for the Online Section at the CGS 2011 Conference in next month’s event on 3 and 4 March. The gaming industry show is being held at the Sans Souci Expo Center in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, with the participation of industry leaders International Game Technology, Iovation and BMM Compliance.

Tackling the Online Gaming sector, Richard Williamson, BMM Compliance, Senior Vice President Operations Americas, will speak on how the Internet has changed our lives forever and, no matter what, is not going away. Online Gaming is already a reality but is it a threat to traditional gaming? This presentation will review the transition of online gaming into gaming industry.

IGT will have a double representation on iGaming, where Phil Sebok, Latin America & Caribbean Business Development Director, and Marcus Yoder, Director of Americas Interactive Business, will lead the discussion that will focus on high level strategy and opportunity for Latin America and the Caribbean in the iGaming sector. Phil will be presenting facts about the market, new media, technology and the rise of the online gaming. The discussion will be for both wager and no-wager markets.

On the topic “Online Fraud Prevention Strategies for iGaming”, Richard Orcutt, Iovation Head of Sales, will devote the session to examining strategies on how to identify suspicious or high risk transactions in order to minimize fraud risk within online gambling. Orcutt will also share case studies about how gambling operators assess risk and use device reputation to keep their games safe for their players without using any personally identifiable information.
